Warranty

Our doors are manufactured following the best standards and using best quality material. Any defective door, either in manufacturing or in material will be replaced free of charge if returned during the first year period prior to the delivery date. This warranty is limited to replacement of the door only, excluding installation, hardware, paint and glass. Portes Mirabel reserves the right to choose between repairing or replacing the defective product. All modifications done to the door by the customer that do not meet Portes Mirabel’s standards will void the warranty.

Doors must be inspected by the customer upon reception. It will be to late to report a defect such as dent, scratch etc. once the doors are installed.

Variations of color or wood grain textures or warping of ¼ inch or less are not considered defects.

Wood doors requires specific care. It could be subject to contraction and expansion when exposed to varying temperature and humidity fluctuations.

All six sides of the wood door must be treated (paint, varnish or stain (oil-based)) within seven days of the delivery date to avoid humidity absorption that could alter the wood and should be treated annually. The exterior door must be installed under a roof of at least 4 feet deep, to protect from the rain, sun and snow.

Portes Mirabel assumes no responsibility for improper installation and adjustment problems or improper maintenance, any damage caused as a result of misuse, vandalism, object impact, distortion or failure of the structure / building / foundation. The warranty does not cover air and water infiltration during extreme weather conditions and / or sinister such as floods, earthquakes, exposure to excessive heat or fire, severe weather conditions, explosions or other casualty.

Any claim must be submitted within ten days after the delivery. Doors cannot be repaired or returned without our authorization.

Portes Mirabel will cover the cost of the service call during the fist year period only. After one year, labour costs for repair, installation and transportation are the responsibility of the customer.

Improvements and modifications in the products can be made without notice.
